 MONDEV DENIED LEAVE TO APPEAL EARLIER COURT DECISION
 TORONTO, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Campeau Corporation announced today


that a panel of three judges of the Appeal Court of Ontario has denied Mondev International Ltd. leave to appeal a decision made Dec. 20, 1991, by the Ontario Court of Justice (General Division). The panel's decision was made orally from the bench.
 Mondev was seeking to amend an order made Oct. 23, 1991, respecting a plan of arrangement by Campeau Corporation.
