Vernon Kay Telly presenter Vernon Kay is heading for Teesside to show off his DJ skills. The All Star Family Fortunes host is touring racecourses around the country and will stop in at Sedgefield on Thursday. Vernon is one of the UK's best celebrity DJs, his summer tour is dedicated to providing after-racing entertainment in the shape of a DJ night with a party atmosphere. FOOD Orange Pip The next artisan market in Middlesbrough's Baker Street is set for Saturday, and this time around, it will spread its wings to include next door Bedford Street too. Noon til 7pm is the time - expect artisan food, fun, drinks and music in the heart of the Boro.
OUTDOOR The 127th Egton Horse and Agricultural Show Get set for a traditional village show on Wednesday. There'll be classes for all kinds of agriculture and horticulture, as well as showjumping and pony races, sheep dog trials and displays including blacksmith, wrought ironwork, falconry and sheep clipping. There will be a cookery demonstration by Sarah Muir of the Arches Cookery School (pictured), and a parade of Stokesley Farmers Beagles and the Goathland and Glaisdale Hounds will also take place. Admission is PS7 adults, PS3 children, car parking is free.
Movies 4 Juniors Get snap happy. Cineworld Middlesbrough will be bringing a photo booth to its foyer for a week from tomorrow, giving families the chance to take a snap with their favourite characters like Hank from Finding Dory or Roald Dahl's The BFG and you can take a free printout home. Cineworld Middlesbrough's Summer of Family Fun will also be holding Movies 4 Juniors mornings, which will include colouring in and characters from all their favourite films. www.cineworld.com/middlesbrough for more information.
FAMILY Ratburger TAKE a picnic and something to sit on for outdoor performances of the David Walliams favourite Ratburger on Friday. 6.30pm is the start time, the show takes place at Guisborough Forest and Walkway's outdoor amphitheatre. Tickets are PS12 for adults, PS8 children, PS36 family.
