New Tricks BBC1, 9pm New series. The veteran detectives return to investigate a fresh batch of unsolved crimes, beginning with the murder of a palaeontologist at the Natural History Museum. The team discovers the victim was a respected but outspoken scientist with a knack for rubbing people up the wrong way -and when it comes out he was strongly opposed to the museum''s sponsorship deal with a large fuel company, the cops soon have plenty of suspects. Amanda Redman stars.

Embarrassing Bodies: Teen Special Channel 4, 9pm The mobile clinic is parking up at Sheffield Hallam University and doctors Christian, Pixie and Dawn are back to let the youth of today know that these needn''t be the worst years of your life. They meet 18-year-old Jameel who wants to get the strange lumps on his scrotum checked, and Kate, who is embarrassed by her vaginal discharge. Meanwhile, Dr Dawn meets sufferer of heavy periods Alana, and Dr Pixie hears how 15-year-old Jamie has a rectal prolapse that makes excreting unbearably painful.
