MOMENTUM CORP., CHICAGO BRANCH, MOVES TO NEW LOCATION

BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Momentum Corp. (NASDAQ: MMDI), a leading national dealer in the printing and publishing industry, announced today it recently moved its Chicago branch from downtown Chicago to a modern 48,500-square-foot facility located in Itasca, Ill.
"Additional space was needed to support our growth in the Chicago area," said John Goddard, president and chief executive officer. "We are very excited about the benefits our customers will receive from the expansion of our electronic imaging and demonstration facilities, as well as the improved working environment for our employees," said Goddard.
The recently renovated facility includes 13,500 square feet of office interior, designed completely by a team of Momentum employees. It includes a state-of-the-art demonstration center for electronic pre-press equipment, a systems training area able to accommodate 12 students and a service staging room designed for configuring electronic systems before customer installation.
The 18 feet of vaulted ceiling in the general office area includes windows that stretch the length of the walls, designed to take advantage of natural light, as well as enhance the open concept of work areas, promoting Momentum's TQM philosophy of teamwork and employee interaction. The five conference rooms range from small and relaxed to formal, with flexible seating able to accommodate national meetings.
The one level 35,000-square-foot warehouse is equipped with inside docks and an overhead driving door.
"The increased efficiency of a modern facility, improved proximity to our vendors, as well as consolidation of several office locations are additional important advantages gained in the move," said Goddard.
