MOBIL SELLS CORPUS CHRISTI TERMINAL TO CITGO

MOBIL SELLS CORPUS CHRISTI TERMINAL TO CITGO
FAIRFAX, Va., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobil Corporation (NYSE: MOB)

said today that Mobil Pipe Line Company had sold its products terminal on the harbor in Corpus Christi, Texas, to CITGO Petroleum Corporation. The sale was closed in May.
Mobil had operated the terminal, originally through Mobil's refining division and later by Mobil Pipe Line Co., since it was first acquired by Magnolia Petroleum in 1939. In recent years, however, Mobil has restructured the regional marketing operations served by this location and therefore no
longer requires full use of the terminal. Mobil has kept an easement from CITGO for a pipeline pump station and will continue to operate its San Antonio products pipeline out of the terminal. The property includes dock facilities from which Mobil had formerly handled products.
Mobil has an interest in about 8,000 miles of products pipelines in the United States and another 2,000 miles abroad. The company's pipelines for crude oil and natural gas liquids amount to almost 18,000 miles and those transporting natural gas run over 9,000 miles.
