MNA Aftab Shoban Mirani reviews development schemes.

Imran Ali Soomro SHIKARPUR, June 01, 2011 (Regional Times): A special meeting held here on Tuesday to review development work called upon officials complete the work of mega drainage project near a proposed road in the city. The special meeting presided over by MNA Aftab Shoban Mirani here at DCO Secretariat reviewed the development schemes in Shikarpur District and discussed the special development scheme including the construction of the city's main road from Rustam Chowk to Lakhi Gate, Clock Tower with an estimated cost of more than Rs 36.00 million. Aftab Mirani MNA strictly directed the Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering and Taluka Municipal Officer Shikarpur to complete the ongoing construction works of drainage mega project near the proposed city road. He also asked the EDO Works and Services to use superior quality material for the construction of road so that it could provide service for at least for 30 years. Among others DCO Shikarpur Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo, EDO Works and Services Hafiz Muhammad Bux, Executive Engineer Khaleel Ahmed Soomro, Consultant Drainage Mega Project Shafi Muhammad Lakho, NSUC Manager Muhammad Ali Shaikh, Executive Engineer Sui Southern Gas Ali Nawaz Soomro, Executive Engineer PTCL Asadullah Sawand and other District Officers attended the meeting.
