Raleigh, NC, November 09, 2011 --( Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Public Relations (, a Raleigh-based public relations firm, has announced that Senior Account Manager Kate Catlin will participate in “The Great Talent Search,” a Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce panel discussion taking place Thursday, Nov. 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Marbles Kids Museum located at 201 E. Hargett St. The panel will discuss the truth about millennials, the youngest generation in the American workplace, including what is most important to millennial employees as they choose a career and employer, and how employers and Wake County can attract and motivate these employees. Catlin will represent the millennial generation on a panel that also includes millennial representatives from Allscripts, Biogen IDEC and Cisco Systems, Inc.

MMI Public Relations is serving as a sponsor for the event, which is a part of the AM Networks series. The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce created AM Networks to offer morning educational forums that focus on professional development, community involvement, local issues and legislative affairs.

“Millennial workers have so much to offer the business environment, not only because of their strong skill sets in our fast-paced online world and their comfort with new technologies, but also because of their values,” said Catlin. “This panel represents an opportunity for everyone in attendance to join this important conversation as the generations work together to build a more effective and dynamic workforce.”

“I am proud to have Kate speaking on behalf of millennials at 'The Great Talent Search' panel,” said Briguglio. “She is an outstanding manager at our firm and leads client meetings and strategy, as well as oversees, advises and trains new and existing MMI staff. With an expertise in crisis PR, Kate has worked on accounts in a variety of industries, and her background will allow her to contribute valuable information to the attendees at this event.”
