MK TO BUILD HIGH-TECHNOLOGY BRAKE PLANT FOR KELSEY-HAYES IN THE NETHERLANDS

 BOISE, Idaho, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The first European anti-lock brake system manufacturing facility of Kelsey-Hayes Inc., will be constructed by Morrison Knudsen Corp. (NYSE: MRN) under the terms of an approximately $10-million contract awarded by the Michigan-based firm, Morrison Knudsen announced today.
 The plant will be built in Heerlen, the Netherlands. The contract work will begin immediately and the plant is scheduled to be operational early in 1994.
 The 100,000-square-foot facility will include the latest in high- tech innovations, a climate-controlled environment, and a modern, aesthetically pleasing design. Production equipment will be procured from the United States, Europe and Asia. The Industrial Manufacturing Division of MK Engineering and Construction Group based in Cleveland will complete the project through the company's European affiliate, MK-CICAL.
