MITZI GAYNOR TO HOST NEW AMC SERIES, MAKE AFFILIATE APPEARANCES; CESAR
 ROMERO SERIES RENEWED; AMC CONTINUES TO ADD HOLLYWOOD GREATS
 DALLAS, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Popular entertainer and actress Mitzi Gaynor will host a new weekly series on AMC, while legendary Hollywood actor Cesar Romero will return for a second year with the network, it was announced by AMC Vice President and General Manager Kate McEnroe.
 Both stars will also serve as official network spokespersons and make personal appearances around the country for AMC.
 Gaynor and Romero are part of a growing and exclusive membership of Hollywood greats who comprise AMC's family of stars. Others include Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Dorothy Lamour, Shirley Jones, Debbie Reynolds, Anne Jeffreys and Omar Sharif, all who host AMC series and/or act as official network ambassadors.
 Gaynor will host "Comedy Classics," a weekly AMC movie series featuring the silver screen's greatest comedies and musical comedies. "Comedy Classics" will be seen Saturday evenings at 9 p.m. Eastern.
 Romero has hosted "Romance Classics," seen Sunday afternoons at 5 p.m. Eastern since its debut last April. The weekly movie series features classic Hollywood's greatest romance motion pictures and features Romero remembering the films and the stars. New "Romance Classics" premiere in June.
 American Movie Classics is the only 24-hour basic cable network devoted exclusively to presenting Hollywood's greatest movies and entertainment from the 1930s through the 1970s with all films shown unedited, uninterrupted, commercial-free and without colorization. AMC is part of Rainbow Programming Holdings, Inc., which also includes Bravo, the SportsChannel Regional Network and is affiliated with SportsChannel America.
