MITSUBISHI MOTORS NAMES LEPLEY SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/SALES AND MARKETING
AS COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW REORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Inc. (MMSA) has announced the recent reorganization of its sales and marketing departments, in an effort to further support its dealer body and consolidate the company's national advertising, merchandising and sales promotions. Under the new structure, the company has appointed Rick Lepley to senior vice president of sales and marketing from his previous post of senior vice president of sales.
"By merging our marketing and sales to one cohesive group, we can better institute cross promotions and incentive programs for our dealers and remain consistent in our message to consumers," said Richard D. Recchia, executive vice president and chief operating officer for MMSA. The company believes its national advertising efforts, combined with growing consumer awareness of the Mitsubishi brand, require stronger emphasis and continuity than in the past and will provide a more solid support team for its dealer network.
In addition to changes within the sales and marketing area, MMSA has expanded its corporate administration department to include public relations and government affairs, which will be overseen by Dan McNamara, senior vice president of corporate administration.
Other reorganizational changes implemented within the sales department include the consolidation of fleet sales under the management team of Tom Foster, national distribution manager; accessory sales to be overseen by Katy Bremer in her newly appointed position of director of transportation and port operations; and the appointment of Joe Zeuli to manager of dealer development, replacing Mike Raumschuh, who has accepted the position of western region sales manager for MMSA.
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Inc. was established in 1982 by Mitsubishi Motors Corp., Tokyo, and markets a full line of subcompacts, compacts, sports coupes, grand touring sports cars, luxury performance sedans, sport wagons, light trucks and sport/utility vehicles.
