 MITSUBISHI ESTABLISHES NEW MACHINE TOOL COMPANY
 NEW YORK, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi has announced the


consolidation of marketing and manufacturing functions for Mitsubishi machine tool products into a new company, MHI Machine Tool U.S.A., Inc. (MMT) located in Wood Dale, Ill. and Hopkinsville, Ky.
 Until recently, engineering, service, and support of Mitsubishi machine tool products have been provided by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc.'s (MHIA) Machine Tool Division, marketing handled by Mitsubishi International Corporation, and manufacturing in the United States done by American Precision Machinery, a 100 percent subsidiary of MHIA. This consolidation not only unifies all of these functions but will also improve customer support as well as streamline the management of Mitsubishi's machine tool business operations.
 MMT's product line includes flexible manufacturing systems, gear cutting machines, grinders, machining centers and turning centers.
