BBC One Wales, Thursday, 9pm WHEN Mistresses first hit our screens it introduced us to four 30-something women - played by Sarah Parish, Shelley Conn, Orla Brady and Sharon Small - who experienced infidelity in different ways. It was an adult and unflinching look at some very 21st century lives, which obviously scared the pants off a lot of blokes.

We're on season three now and the women have moved on two years from the last time we saw them. As the friends meet up, it is clear relations between them have taken a turn for the worse. Katie's mother Vivienne, played by Joanna Lumley, has come back into her life after travelling abroad. The pair clearly have a frosty relationship and Vivienne's interfering doesn't make things easy. She is concerned about her daughter's destructive romances.

Meanwhile, Trudi's business is putting her relationship with Richard under intense pressure, Jessica pines for a baby, and Siobhan's contentment with the single life comes to a sudden end when her daughter's father reappears. The testosterone in this oestrogen-heavy saga is provided by Patrick Baladi, Vincent Regan and Oliver Milburn.
