MISS USA NAMED GRAND MARSHAL FOR THANKSGIVING PARADE

 DETROIT, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Michigan will get an added bonus at The 67th Annual Thanksgiving Parade Thursday as Detroit's own Kenya Moore, Miss USA 1993, represents The Parade as Grand Marshal.
 Moore, 22, is the second African-American to win the Miss USA title. Kenya hails from Detroit, where she recently completed her freshman year at Wayne State University. Moore is an accomplished model and dancer, and has appeared in fashion layouts for Ebony, Essence, Glamour, Black Elegance, and graced the covers of Jet, Ebony Man and Native Detroiter. During her reign as Miss USA, Moore will be focusing on the children of the country to motivate them to stay in school.
 The Parade starts Thanksgiving Day at 9 a.m. and runs south on Woodward from Mack to Jefferson. Reserved grandstand seating is available by calling 313-923-7400.
