MIPS COMPUTER SYSTEMS KOREA LTD. BECOMES KOREA SILICON GRAPHICS LTD.
 MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Graphics Inc. (NYSE: SGI) announced today that MIPS Computer Systems Korea Ltd. has changed its name to Korea Silicon Graphics Ltd. as a result of the merger between Silicon Graphics and MIPS Computer Systems Inc.
 Korea Silicon Graphics Ltd., located in Seoul, will be responsible for sales, marketing and support in Korea for both MIPS and Silicon Graphics products. Kwangse Lee will continue as the company's representative director. Seoul Electron Ltd. and MIPS distributors, including Daewoo Telecom Ltd., Gain Communication Inc., and Qnix Computer Co. Ltd. will continue to act as Silicon Graphics' distributors in Korea.
