MINNTECH ANNOUNCES FIBER SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH ORGANON TEKNIKA B.V. MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Minntech Corporation (NASDAQ: MNTX) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Organon Teknika B.V., a subsidiary of Akzo N.V., for the exclusive use and distribution of Minntech's Polyphen(TM) membrane in kidney dialysis products. Under the multi-million dollar agreement, Organon Teknika is to purchase certain minimum quantities of fiber over a five-year period. Fibers produced by Minntech exclusively for Organon Teknika will be used in dialyzers and dialysis-related products. Organon Teknika is part of the Pharma Division of Akzo N.V.
