MIDWEST EXPRESS AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NEW CONNECTIONS TO PHOENIX

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwest Express Airlines today announced a schedule adjustment for seasonal weekend nonstop service between its Milwaukee hub and Phoenix, Ariz., allowing for connections from many Wisconsin cities.
In addition to Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Mich., connections through Milwaukee to Phoenix will also be available from Appleton, Wausau/Stevens Point, Green Bay, La Crosse and Madison, Wis., as well as from Rockford, Ill.
Service to Phoenix will run from Dec. 18 to April 17 and will include a once daily roundtrip on both Saturdays and Sundays.
"Phoenix has been one of our most requested destinations, and we are pleased to be able to offer the new service to our passengers traveling to and from the Phoenix area," said Midwest Express President Timothy E. Hoeksema.
Service from Milwaukee will be onboard the airline's luxury DC9-30 jet aircraft with its roomy two-by-two seating configuration, rated by a leading consumer report as the most comfortable coach seat in the sky. The airline's hallmark gourmet meal service, accompanied by complimentary wine or champagne, has resulted in a distinctive Zagat Survey rating as one of the top two domestic airlines for comfort, service, timeliness and food.
Midwest Express Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of K-C Aviation, Inc., which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kimberly-Clark Corp. (NYSE: KMB). Operating since June 1984, Midwest Express currently maintains a fleet of 16 aircraft.
