MICROLOG CORPORATION AWARDED MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT WITH JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY, APPLIED PHYSICS LAB

 GERMANTOWN, Md., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Microlog Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: MLOG) announced that its subsidiary Old Dominion Systems, Incorporated of Maryland (ODSM), was recently awarded a contract with Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), under APL's prime contract with the Department of Navy.
 The one-year contract consisting of a base period of one year and three additional option years is estimated at $1.2 million. ODSM will provide dispatch operator and computer support to APL's Data Processing Facility within the Navy's Strategic Systems Department. The Data Processing Facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. "ODSM continues to provide a stable source of revenues for the company," said Microlog President and Chief Operating Officer, Richard A. Thompson.
 Microlog Corporation, headquartered in Germantown, designs, manufactures, sells and services voice processing systems. Its products find wide application in government, health care, utility, media/entertainment and other markets and are sold through a direct sales force, by distributors and by value added resellers. A subsidiary, Old Dominion Systems, Inc., of Maryland, provides technical analysis and support services to the U.S. government and prime contractors.
