MICROLOG CORPORATION ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT CONTRACT AWARDS WITH JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY, APPLIED PHYSICS LAB

 GERMANTOWN, Md., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Microlog Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: MLOG) announced today that its subsidiary Old Dominion Systems Incorporated of Maryland (ODSM) was recently awarded four contracts with Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), under APL's prime contract with the Department of Navy.
 One of the four contracts was for a base period of three years with two additional option years. This contract is a continuation of an existing ODSM contract. The contract is estimated to provide $3.5 million of revenue over the next three years. ODSM will provide systems engineering, programming, operations engineering and data management services to APL. Under this contract, ODSM will support activities in the Acoustics Processing Laboratory, Submarine Combat Integration Laboratory, Submarine Instrumentation and Track Reconstruction Facility, Management Information System (MIS).
 The other three contracts awarded to ODSM are Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and are dependent on the specific number and classifications of persons that are needed during the contract period. The objective of this procurement is to furnish the best qualified personnel on an as-required basis.
