MICORPROSE REJECTS CHANGES IN PRELIMINARY AGREEMENT WITH INVESTORS

 HUNT VALLEY, Md., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroProse, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPRS) today announced that it has rejected changes in its preliminary agreement with certain institutional investors described in its June 8, 1993 release.
 These investors had requested that the company negotiate exclusively with them and had also insisted on a substantially increased break-up fee. The company declined to accept either of these changes and the investors have said that they have withdrawn from the arrangement.
 The company is entertaining other proposals for financing and other transactions. The company cannot predict whether or when it may successfully complete a financing transaction.
 The company's agreement with its domestic lender to forbear temporarily and to certain current operating expenses of the company continues in effect.
