MICHIGAN LOTTERY INTRODUCES TWO NEW INSTANT GAMES IN JULY: 'FAT CAT' AND 'INSTANT SLOTS'

LANSING, Mich., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Friends of felines will have fun "scratching" the new instant game "Fat Cat," which goes on sale next week. And later this month, the Lottery will introduce another new instant game, "Instant Slots."
The new games will go on sale this month at over 8,500 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
The Michigan Lottery's newest instant game is the "cat's meow." Players will love the new "Fat Cat" instant game which is brilliantly colored in red and blue with a smiling cat on the front of the ticket holding cash in his paw.
Players can win up to $1,000 in great cash prizes in the "Fat Cat" game. If players spell "C-A-T" in any row, column or diagonal, they win the prize indicated on the ticket.
Players who like Las Vegas-style instant tickets can try their luck on the "Instant Slots" instant game which goes on sale July 26.
Players can win up to $250 in the new "Instant Slots" game. If players match three like symbols in any row, they win the prize shown for that row. Best of all, players will get three chances to win on each ticket!
The overall odds of winning a prize in either game are 1-in-6.
Michigan Lottery players have another way to win big with Lottery instant tickets. Players can use their non-winning tickets for a chance to appear on the "Megabucks Giveaway" weekly TV game show, where contestants can win up to $50,000 in cash prizes.
To enter the "Megabucks Giveaway" drawing, players send three different non-winning instant game tickets along with name, address and daytime telephone number to:
 Lottery Megabucks
 P.O. Box 30077
 Lansing, MI 48909
All "Megabucks Giveaway" contestants receive full "star" treatment, including limousine service for traveling around Detroit and a special luncheon at The Whitney restaurant. Before the show, each contestant visits a television makeup artist and is photographed with the show's hosts, Chuck Gaidica and Aggie Usedly.
The "Megabucks Giveaway" TV show airs every Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. on a network of television stations throughout the state.
