 MICHCON OFFERS $5,000 REWARD IN BUSINESS OFFICE ROBBERY
 DETROIT, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Michigan Consolidated Gas Company


(MichCon) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual who shot and robbed a Total Armored Car Company guard at the MichCon Customer Business office at 15600 Grand River, Detroit on Monday, July 6.
 "With this reward, we hope to send a clear message that this type of criminal behavior will not be tolerated at any MichCon facility," said John vonRosen, MichCon's senior vice president of Utility Operations. "It is our intention to assist the efforts of law-enforcement officials to locate and convict this individual," he added.
 Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Federal Bureau of Investigation Agent Kevin Tius at 313-237-4286, or the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-1951.
