MICHCON AND NBD HOST CONFERENCE ON AMERICAN CITIES
Rebuilding the riot-torn neighborhoods of Los Angeles will be one of

the topics community development practitioners will discuss at the Development Leadership Network's 4th Annual National Conference starting Wednesday, May 6, at the Omni Hotel in Detroit.
Several prominent Los Angeles-area community leaders will join 350 other participants in the three-day conference, which will focus on ways cities like Los Angeles, Detroit and others can develop a new generation of community-based leadership. Also, national experts will study individual Detroit projects as examples of successful community- based efforts, during tours conducted Friday, May 8.
Media representatives are invited to attend the conference and the tours, and arrangements can be made for interviews with individual participants. Press credentials will be required.
