MICHAEL L. LUETKEMEYER NAMED VICE PRESIDENT-CONTROLLER OF HARRIS SEMICONDUCTOR SECTOR

 MELBOURNE, Fla., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) announced that Michael L. Luetkemeyer has joined the company as vice president-controller of Harris Semiconductor.
 Luetkemeyer, 43, was a senior manager, Finance at General Electric Corporation's GE Aerospace Defense Systems Department in Pittsfield, Mass. He joined GE in 1985 as manager, Government Accounting at GE Semiconductor. He was named manager, Contract Practices at GE Aerospace in 1987, manager, Program Finance at GE Aerospace Government Communication Systems in 1989, and promoted to his most recent position in 1991.
 Prior to joining GE, Luetkemeyer was with Harris' Semiconductor Sector for four years, where he held financial-management positions of increasing responsibility.
 Luetkemeyer is a CPA and holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Rollins College, Florida, a B.S. degree in Finance from Southwest Missouri State University, and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Missouri.
