MICHAEL HILL PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT, FOR THE MOTION PICTURE GROUP OF PARAMOUNT PICTURES

 HOLLYWOOD, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Hill has been promoted to vice president, production management, for the Motion Picture Group of Paramount Pictures, it was announced today by Michael Tadross, senior vice president, features production.
 Hill is responsible for coordinating all budget activity for the production division, which includes financial approvals, staffing and compilation of production and development reports. He reports directly to Tadross.
 "Michael's contributions to the production area have been significant, and this promotion is a reflection of our continuing reliance on his expertise," said Tadross.
 Hill previously served as executive director of production finance after joining the company in 1986.
 Before that, he was the production accountant for "Nothing in Common" and served as director of budgeting for Tri-Star Pictures from 1985-86.
 Prior to his stint at Tri-Star, Hill was a production accountant for Columbia Pictures from 1980 through 1984. Other industry positions include secretary/treasurer of RBC Films (which was purchased by Paramount and became Home Video) and assistant to the controller at Todd-AO Corp.
