MIAMI'S ART DECO DISTRICT FEATURED ON AT&T TELETICKET

MIAMI, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Art Deco District in Miami Beach, Fla. is one of the three latest landmarks featured by AT&T TeleTicket(sm) Service, a prepaid information and calling service. Introduced last May, AT&T TeleTicket Service is available in 10 languages and allows visitors to the United States to prepay for weather reports, news updates, exchange rate information and interpretation services as well as for telephone calls.
The other two AT&T TeleTickets released today have the Capital Building in Washington, D.C., and Waimea Bay in Oahu, Hawaii, on them. The tickets can be purchased in denominations of 10, 25, or 50 units. AT&T sells a 10-unit ticket for $6 U.S., 25 units for $15 and 50 units for $30. Each unit is valued at $.60 U.S. The three tickets are available in all units and languages.
The first four AT&T TeleTickets introducing the service feature the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Statue of Liberty in New York, the American bald eagle and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. When the first series was introduced, the tickets were available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Since then, Mandarin Chinese and many different scenes have been added.
"Aside from making it easier for visitors to the U.S. to access information services and place telephone calls, many of the AT&T TeleTickets also have become collector's items," said Cyndy Stockley, AT&T TeleTicket manager. "We believe these three new AT&T TeleTickets will be very popular."
Some of the distributors AT&T has signed customized the cover design of the AT&T TeleTicket they distribute. The Universal Studios' customized AT&T TeleTicket features ET the Extraterrestrial and Best Western International chose the Statue of Liberty alongside their logo. As part of special promotions, AT&T sold a holiday series of AT&T TeleTickets during December and issued a Democratic National Convention AT&T TeleTicket and Republican National Convention AT&T TeleTicket.
Customers dial a toll-free 800 number to access the various information services or place phone calls within the United States and to more than 190 countries and locations around the world. Recorded messages, in one of the 10 languages, guide customers as they select their desired service. Instructions also are printed on the back of the card in the language of their choice. If the customer needs additional instruction, they can speak directly with a customer representative, 24 hours a day, in the language the ticket was purchased in.
AT&T TeleTicket Service can be purchased at one of the many AT&T PhoneCenter Stores throughout Florida or directly through various distributors or from AT&T by calling an AT&T representative who speaks one of the 10 languages. To reach an AT&T representative, customers can call a toll-free 800 number within the United States. Outside the United States, customers can call AT&T collect.
