Worldwide Computer Products News-7 September 2000-MGI Software launches new version of Photovista imaging software (C)1995-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

US-based Internet software and services provider MGI Software has released Photovista 2.0 for Windows, the latest version of its imaging software for the web.

Designed to enable web developers and e-businesses to create 360-degree navigable images and virtual tours, the software adjusts and blends a series of overlapping still images taken from any digital camera or video camcorder or scanned from traditional 35mm photos into a realistic yet compact 360-degree panorama.

Enhancements in version 2.0 include faster photo-stitching technology, a simpler creation process, support for over 100 camera lenses and faster web page development through automated HTML preview and auto generation of HTML code.

Photovista 2.0 for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 is available now priced at GBP49.99. Photovista 2.0 for Macintosh is due later this year.
