MFS INTELENET LAUNCHES FULL SERVICE PHONE COMPANY PROVIDING BOTH LOCAL AND LONG DISTANCE; OFFERS SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS

 NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- MFS Intelenet, Inc., a subsidiary of MFS Communications Company, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: MFST), announced today the launch of the nation's only full service telecommunications company designed exclusively to meet the needs of small- to medium-sized businesses. MFS Intelenet provides both local and long distance service through one carrier over state-of-the-art facilities.

 customer single-call solutions to local and long distance

 including: calling card, 800 number service, voice-mail,
