MFIC Transfers Media Mill Manufacturing.

MFIC Corporation, Newton, MA, has announced that it has transferred the manufacture of its Zinger horizontal media mill from its MI-based Epworth Mill division to its Morehouse-Cowles division in Fullerton, CA. According to the company, the transfer will allow it to utilize Morehouse-Cowles' national and international brand equity to increase sales of the Zinger product line.

The Zinger product line features patented rotor and chamber designs that produce smaller particles and with significantly higher efficiency than conventional horizontal mills, according to the company. The Zinger Mills' proprietary rotor vanes thrust media outward, creating more energy for dispersion, according to the company.
