 METALCLAD ANNOUNCES ALAN JOHN BORNER TO JOIN BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Metalclad Corp. (NASDAQ: MTLC) announced today that Alan John Borner, the founder and executive director of Environmental Hazards Management Institute (EHMI), has agreed to accept a position as a member of the board of directors.
 As founder of EHMI, Borner has been involved in providing technical, regulatory, financial and market information in areas of environmental management for more than 15 years. He has conducted environmental conferences throughout the world and is the co-founder of HazMat World magazine, a publication recognized as a reference for more than 130,000 professionals in America and overseas. Borner is a founding director of the National Association for Environmental Management, a coalition of corporate environmental managers striving for excellence, and is vice president of The Environmental Business Association based in Washington D.C.
 Borner is also responsible for the publication known as EHMI Re:Source, a networking newsletter that shares information about programs, people and resources working together to make a difference. Re:Source is circulated nationally free-of-charge to corporate, agency and municipal managers, as well as to advocacy and educational leaders. Borner also provides editorial services to three other publications, the Environmental Manager's Compliance Advisor, the OSHA Compliance Advisor and the National Association for Environmental Management Network News.
 Metalclad and its Mexican company, Eco-Administracion, are developing a number of fully integrated waste treatment centers in Mexico. The treatment centers utilize the latest technologies for rotary kiln incineration, metal recycling and inorganic processing. As a director, Borner's many years of experience in the U.S. Environmental Service Industry will provide valuable knowledge and insight to the board.
