MERU AWARDED INTERNET TELEPHONY EXCELLENCE AWARD.

Meru Networks, the global leader in wireless VoIP infrastructure, Sunnyvale, Calif., has announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC(R))'s Internet Telephony(R) magazine ( www.itmag.com ) has named Meru a recipient of an Internet Telephony Excellence Award for 2005. Internet Telephony magazine has been a VoIP Authority since 1998.

The Internet Telephony award adds to a long list of industry accolades that Meru has received recognizing its innovation in delivering solutions that are purpose-built for wireless VoIP. Meru's Wireless LAN System features the company's unique Air Traffic Control technology which helps businesses enable true VoIP mobility. The Meru WLAN System is the only solution purpose-built to carry heavy voice and data traffic with reliability and optimum quality.

"We are excited that the Internet Telephony team has recognized Meru's WLAN System for its contribution to furthering the successful deployment of wireless VoIP," said Joel Vincent, director of product marketing. "In particular, we are proud to be receiving this first-ever Internet Telephony excellence award, since it is based not just on the editors' review of our product, but also on our customers' positive references."

"The editorial staff of Internet Telephony magazine is proud to announce the winners of the first-ever Internet Telephony Excellence Awards. These companies are as varied as there are products that fit under the IP telephony umbrella. But the one thing that binds them all together is that they all excel at delivering solutions that solve their customers' needs," indicated Rich Tehrani, Editor-in-Chief of Internet Telephony.

"The VoIP space is hot these days, and it's easy to get caught up in the hype associated with such a buzzing marketplace. However, the winners of the first-ever Internet Telephony Excellence Award are not merely 'me-too' players. Meru has proven to the editors of Internet Telephony that its WLAN System has excelled in the VoIP/IP Telephony industry, and most importantly, its customers are willing to speak up and offer themselves as references," said Greg Galitzine, Editorial Director of Internet Telephony.

The Internet Telephony Excellence Award winners for 2005 were published in the October issue of Internet Telephony magazine.
