 MERRILL LYNCH COMPLETES LYONs TENDER OFFER
 NEW YORK, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.


(NYSE: MER) announced today that approximately $600,578,000 principal amount of its Liquid Yield Option(TM) Notes due Feb. 21, 2006, (including $797,000 principal amount tendered pursuant to notices of guaranteed delivery) were tendered and accepted for payment pursuant to Merrill Lynch's offer to purchase any and all of its outstanding LYONs for $336.97 per $1,000 principal amount net. The offer expired at midnight, Nov. 6.
 The $600,578,000 principal amount of LYONs tendered and accepted for purchase represents approximately 98 percent of LYONs outstanding. All LYONs not tendered remain subject to Merrill Lynch's amended notice of redemption published on Oct. 8, 1991.
