 MERRILL CORPORATION ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
 WITH BURRUPS/ST. IVES, UK.
 ST. PAUL, Minn., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrill Corporation (NASDAQ: MRLL) today announced that it has entered into a marketing and service agreement with Burrups/St. Ives of the United Kingdom. Under the agreement, Merrill and Burrups will provide printing services for international financial transactions.
 Merrill Corporation President and CEO John Castro said of the agreement, "Burrups has a strong service reputation in Europe and Asia which complements Merrill's reputation in the United States. We have had a successful working relationship on a number of transactions in the past and this agreement solidifies that relationship and our joint commitment to quality service for our clients on international deals."
