MELC launches Arabic website.
While on one hand, the new website is primed to communicate MELC's value proposition of aligning the newest technologies with the finest eye care standards, on the other, it provides details of staff, treatments and services. Those interested in more details can scroll to specialist services and look up the service they are interested in. Additionally, there is a Frequently Asked Questions section that addresses initial common concerns that clients may have. All this is in now available in Arabic as well so that Oman's residents can gain information in the language they are comfortable.
"The underlined need to develop an Arabic website was to get closer to the local Omani population, raising their comfort levels. On a larger scale, it helps to reach out and reinforce its presence in the Middle East and other Arabic-speaking countries," said Sameer al Awam, CEO of MELC. The bilingual customer service staff further reiterates the centre's commitment to ensuring the maximum comfort of its clients.
Dr Maria Clara Arbelaez, co-founder of MELC, said, "At a day and age when electronic media is taking the lead in communication, the centre has taken all steps to keep pace with the latest developments. Websites are very usually the first point of contact and the first impression a potential client will have of a company. We hope to provide absolute clarity in terms of updated information through this interface, prior to a face to face consultation which will help customers make an informed decision regarding their eye care."
