MEDPLUS CORP. AND FIRST FAMILY FINANCIAL SERVICES REACH AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE A HEALTHCARE PRIVATE LABEL CREDIT CARD

 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Medplus Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: MPPI) announced today that it has signed a dealer agreement with First Family Financial Services of Atlanta, to provide a private label credit card to patients of healthcare providers. Medplus Corp. will begin marketing the private label credit card through its strategic alliance network under its Patient Plus(R) Program. Medplus Corp.'s Patient Plus program generates non-recourse cash advanced funding to healthcare providers while offering consumers of healthcare services convenient and manageable financing programs. Medplus Executive Vice President, Tim C. DeHerrera stated "Medplus continues to make significant progress in furthering its position in the healthcare patient financing business. Our joint alliance marketing programs with key market leaders is proving to be effective in penetrating this $160 billion area of healthcare expenditures."
