MEDIWARE FORECASTS LOSS FOR DEC. 31 QUARTER MELVILLE, N.Y., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Mediware Information Systems,
Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDW; PSE: MIS) anticipates revenue for its second quarter ended Dec. 31, 1991, to be in the range of $2.1 million to $2.2 million with a net loss of about $125,000.
At a financial community meeting in Boston this morning, the company said anticipated results reflect larger than budgeted sales of hardware versus software coupled with lower than customary margins on its hardware shies. The company said it expects to announce final results and file its 10 Q next week. Mediware is a provider of UNIX-based clinical information systems for hospitals.
