REDMOND, Wash., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Medio Multimedia Inc. today announced that its interactive documentary(TM) multimedia title "JFK Assassination: A Visual Investigation(TM)" was selected as "Best Multimedia Title" of the year by Electronic Entertainment magazine. The Electronic Entertainment Editor's Choice awards recognize the top software titles released over the past year that offer consumers the highest quality of technology and entertainment. The coveted award was presented to Medio at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week and will be featured with other category winners in the March issue of the magazine.
"Our Editor's Choice awards are given to those products that are pushing the envelope in terms of technology, graphics, performance, animation and video and are just plain fun to use," said Electronic Entertainment Editor-in-Chief Gina Smith. "Medio's title was a standout because of its innovative approach to the subject matter and outstanding performance under Microsoft Windows. This is one of the most compelling entertainment titles available on the market." According to Smith, "JFK Assassination: A Visual Investigation" was selected out of a review of 100 titles.
"We're very pleased that Electronic Entertainment values the quality of our products and has recognized our JFK title with this honor," said Steve Podradchik, president of Medio Multimedia. "The overwhelming consumer, reseller and media feedback we've received has reassured us that we're providing titles that not only incorporate multimedia technologies, but are also compelling and stimulating to the people who use them."
"JFK Assassination: A Visual Investigation" includes sophisticated digitized versions of the infamous Zapruder film, mathematically precise computer animations that show conflicting bullet angles, the complete text of the Warren Commission Report and the book "Crossfire," all of which allow people to visually and objectively explore the events of Nov. 22, 1963, from their computer. The MPC (Multimedia PC) program takes no point of view on the assassination of President Kennedy but gives people the ability to stand in Dallas Dealy Plaza and view the incident from the exact locations of key witnesses.
