MEDICAL DEVICES APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE/CFO

 ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDEV) (MDI) today announced the appointment of W. Glen Winchell to the position of vice president of finance/CFO. For the past three years Winchell has been an investor and consultant. Prior to that he was chairman and CEO of Braxton Industries, Inc., St. Paul; vice president of Aptus, Lakeville, Minn.; vice president, finance, ETA Systems, St. Paul; director of treasury for GELCO Corporation, Eden Prairie, Minn; and audit manager for Arthur Andersen and Company, St. Paul and Kansas City, Mo. He is also a certified public accountant.
 "Glen brings a great deal of financial control and long-range planning experience to MDI at a time that we are poised for significant growth," said David B. Kaysen, president and CEO.
