MDS Laboratories awards national contract to AML.
American Medical Laboratories has been selected as the preferred-source provider of Esoteric Reference Laboratory Testing Services for MDS Laboratories Inc., according to a company release. Chantilly, VA-based AML, and MDS, of Brentwood, TN, has signed a three-year agreement under which AML will provide highly esoteric and specialized testing services for MDS lab facilities across the United States."There are few reference laboratories that can meet the stringent service expectations of MDS. AML offers a unique blend of esoteric testing expertise and unusually friendly and responsive customer support," said Robin Walsh, president of MDS.
Since 1998, AML has provided esoteric reference laboratory services to the MDS organization. This contract is an expansion of that relationship, company officials said.
