MCOT, KBS expand broadcast deal.

BANGKOK - Thailand's MCOT Public Company agreed to expand broadcast operations with Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) to improve both companies' business performance and increase cooperation between both organisations.

MCOT is a Bangkok-based media company that operates TV, radio and other electronic media. KBS, one of South Korea's leading broadcasters, offers TV and radio channels that include KBS World TV and KBS World Radio.

According to news reports, the memorandum of understanding signed by MCOT president Tanawat Wansom, and KBS president Kim In-Kyu, covers the exchange of TV and radio programmes and related materials; TV production and personnel training; and other "general matters" of cooperation and management.
