At MCN, Alfred R. Glancy III, adds the title of president to his existing titles of chairman and CEO and retains the title of chairman at both MichCon and MCN Investment Corporation. Stephen E. Ewing leaves his post as president and chief operating officer at MCN to become president and CEO of MichCon.

Harold Gardner, previously director of MCN corporate development, is named general auditor of MCN. Mary Jo Braun is named vice president of corporate planning and development at MCN. Braun was previously executive director of MCN corporate planning.
At MichCon, Susan McNish has been named general counsel and secretary. She was formerly associate general counsel and secretary for the utility. Daniel L. Dave Nowakowski, formerly general auditor for MCN and MichCon, has been appointed controller and treasurer at MichCon.
"When we initially formed MCN in late 1988, MichCon was MCN's predominant operating company," Glancy explained. "At the outset, several of our senior officers, including myself, wore multiple hats within the MCN family of companies. Our new alignment clearly assigns responsibilities and accountabilities as we pursue our accelerated growth strategy."
Glancy said all of the changes are effective immediately.
MCN Corporation is the holding company for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, a natural gas distribution, transmission and storage company serving more than 1 million customers in 465 communities throughout Michigan; for Citizens Gas Fuel Company; and for MCN Investment Corporation, which owns subsidiaries in the energy services, computer operations services and natural gas technology businesses.
