MCI WINS BANK OF AMERICA AGREEMENT

 WASHINGTON, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- MCI announced today that it has won its largest projected commercial agreement ever, when it was selected by Bank of America NT&SA as its primary long distance carrier. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 "Not only is the Bank of America win MCI's largest commercial sale ever, but it also symbolizes MCI's growing reputation as the premier telecommunications provider to many of the world's largest financial service institutions and corporations," said Jonathan Crane, president of MCI's National Accounts unit.
 MCI said it will provide Bank of America with a wide range of domestic and international telecommunications services including the following: MCI Vnet, a virtual private network service; MCI Digital Data Services; MCI Global Private Network Services, MCI Network Management Services; MCI Forum, a conference calling service; and a wide range of advanced MCI 800 services including international 800 services from locations in Latin America and Asia.
 MCI, headquartered in Washington, D.C., offers a full range of domestic and global telecommunications services through one of the world's largest state-of-the-art networks. With 1992 revenue of $10.6 billion, the company is the second largest long distance provider in the U.S. and has more than 60 offices in 55 countries. MCI's National Accounts unit, one of four business units, provides telecommunications services to many of the world's largest multinational corporations as well as the U.S. Federal and State governments.
