MCI ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF AIDS WALK MIAMI

 MIAMI, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MCI has joined with Health Crisis Network in sponsoring AIDS WALK MIAMI, a 10-kilometer fundraising walk on March 7 to benefit AIDS education and health care services.
 More than 12,000 walkers, including Honorary Chairpersons Emilio and Gloria Estefan, are expected to participate in the event.
 Registration for the fifth annual WALK begins at 9 a.m. in South Pointe Park, followed by opening ceremonies featuring music star John Secada singing "America the Beautiful." The WALK will kick off at 11 a.m. in the Park, and the volunteer walkers will continue up Washington Ave., around the Lincoln Road Mall, finishing back at South Pointe Park.
 Health Crisis Network (HCN) is a private, non-profit community-based organization founded in 1983. The agency offers emotional support, substance abuse treatment programs, case management and professional education. HCN is Florida's first and largest community-based AIDS service organization.
