 MCI ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP
 OF 11TH ASIAN AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
 -- Washington to Host Film Festival --
 WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- MCI Communications Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: MCIC), a national sponsor of The 1992 Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF), will present a special movie screening of the Taiwanese film "Pushing Hand" on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Cineplex Odeon Jenifer Theatre. The presentation is part of a series of films offered by the AAIFF beginning Nov. 6 through Nov. 22 throughout the Washington area.
 MCI's event on Nov. 6 will kick off the AAIFF's Washington film festival which will include movie presentations at The American University, the Biograph Theatre, the Hirshorn Museum, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, and the Washington Project for the Arts, Open City.
