MCDERMOTT INTERNATIONAL SUBSIDIARY TO REDEEM DEBENTURES

 NEW ORLEANS, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- McDermott Incorporated, a subsidiary of McDermott International, Inc. (NYSE: MDR), announced today that it will redeem, effective April 19, its 9.625 percent Sinking Fund Debentures due March 15, 2004, at a redemption price of $1,027.95, its 10.00 percent Subordinated Debentures due April 1, 2003, at a redemption price of $1,000.00, and its 10.20 percent Sinking Fund Debentures due Dec. 1, 1999, at a redemption price of $1,009.70.
 In addition, McDermott Incorporated announced its intentions to redeem its 12.25 percent Senior Subordinated Notes due June 1, 1998, on June 1, 1993, at a redemption price of $1,045.90.
 McDermott International, Inc. is a leading worldwide energy services company. The company and its subsidiaries manufacture steam-generating equipment, environmental equipment, and government and aerospace products. They also provide engineering and construction services for industrial and utility facilities onshore, and to the oil and gas industry offshore.
