MAYOR WHITE ANNOUNCES NEW AIR SERVICE AT BURKE
CLEVELAND, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyway Airlines has been welcomed

to Cleveland by Mayor Michael R. White. Skyway has begun non-stop service between Burke Lakefront Airport and Detroit City Airport with continuing service to Milwaukee.
"The addition of Skyway is great news for air travel in Cleveland," White said. "Through Burke, business travelers can conveniently fly from downtown Cleveland to downtown Detroit and Milwaukee. This means more business, and more business means more employment.
"When I became mayor, I promised that our administration would revitalize and develop Burke. Skyway is one more example of how we are making this airport a cornerstone of business travel in our community," White added.
The new service will consist of five round-trip flights to Detroit City Airport and four round trips to Milwaukee from Burke each business day.
"These well-timed flights, together with the convenience of the downtown Detroit and Cleveland airports will offer business travelers a new level of service between these major business centers," said Skyway President Rolly Bergeson.
With the new Cleveland service, Skyway will operate 128 weekday departures to 24 destinations in eight states in the Midwest. Skyway flies new state-of-the-art Beech 1900 Airliners and is currently operating 12 aircraft.
