MATTHEW NORMAN'S COLUMN: Tim's a shoulder to Thai on.

Byline: KEEGAN: Not at the races

IT'S a credit to his patriotic pride that Tim Henman sees his contribution to Britain's Davis Cup victory over Thailand on the weekend as a career highlight. With a slightly painful shoulder, Tim was especially thrilled to have beaten the wonderfully named Paradorn Srichipan. Paradorn sounds like a a pain killer, and the poor chap needed some of those after hurting his knee. Even so Tim declared that beating the one-legged Thai was among his greatest achievements.

It may be too late for Tim to win a Grand Slam, but if they introduce tennis into the Paralympics and his shoulder's still a bit sore, who's to say he won't end up with a gold medal around his neck?
