MASTERCRAFT PROMOTIONS: SCHOEN NAMED PRESIDENT; COFFIN, MILLWATER ELEVATED

 SPINDALE, N.C., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Harry F. Schoen has been promoted to President of Collins & Aikman's Mastercraft Division, effective immediately. The announcement comes from Andrew Major, President of C&A Decorative Fabrics Group, to whom Schoen reports.
 In allied moves, Margaret S. Coffin is promoted to division vice President of Merchandising and Don Millwater moves from Controller to Vice President of Control and Administration.
 Schoen joined Mastercraft in 1992 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Mastercraft, he was with Milliken & Co. for 32 years, most recently as General Manager of its greige fine goods businesses.
 He and his wife, Margaret, have two children and two grandchildren. They reside in Spartanburg, S.C.
 Coffin joined Mastercraft in 1990 from Frederick Edward, where she was Design Director. She majored in commercial art and painting at Central Piedmont and Western Piedmont community colleges.
 She and her husband, David Coffin, have a son. They reside in Drexel, N.C.
 Millwater joined Collins & Aikman as Manager of Cost Accounting for the Cavel Division. He transferred to the Mastercraft Division in 1991 as Director of Costs and Budgets and subsequently was promoted to division Controller, the post he held when named Vice President of Controls and Administration. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BS in business administration.
 He and his wife, Patricia, have four children. They reside in the Spindale area.
 Collins & Aikman's Mastercraft Division is the nation's leading producer of jacquard upholstery fabrics.
