MASSMUTUAL NAMES STUART REESE SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT IN CHARGE OF SECURITIES INVESTMENT

 SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Stuart H. Reese has been named Senior Vice President in charge of the Securities Investment Division of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, the company announced today.
 Reese, 37, is charged with managing MassMutual's approximately $17 billion public and private bonds held in the general account, Separate Investments Accounts and other managed portfolios.
 Reese joins MassMutual from Aetna Life & Casualty Co., where he served for 14 years. His most recent position at Aetna was vice president and managing director of Capital Markets Investment Management, and chairman and president of Aetna Financial Services, Inc. (a registered broker/dealer and investment advisor). As such, Reese was responsible for outside money invested in fixed income, equities and real estate asset classes.
 A native of Reading, Pa., Reese earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Gettysburg College, where he graduate summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a master's of business administration with high distinction at Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar.
