MASS MICRO AND IOMEGA TO MARKET SYQUEST COMPATIBLE MEDIA SUPPLIED BY IOMEGA

 SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- MASS Microsystems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ramtek Corp. (NASDAQ: RMTK,D), today announced that it had signed an agreement with Iomega(R) Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: IOMG) to market the Nomai removable Winchester storage cartridges supplied by Iomega under the MASS Microsystems DataCart(TM) trade name.
 MASS Microsystems, a leading supplier of storage subsystems has marketed its DataCart cartridges for over five years as part of its product offering. Unique in the industry, it offers lifetime warranty on the cartridges. "This second-source agreement with a highly respected supplier like Iomega assures users wider availability of cartridges. Iomega's comprehensive testing has convinced us that these cartridges meet or exceed the reliability and quality available in the market today," said Peter Shambora, division vice president of MASS Microsystems Inc.
 The DataCart line is 100-percent compatible with Mass Micro's award- winning DataPak(TM) family of removable media products, including the DataPak 44, 88 and 88C. In addition, all DataCarts fully support the Winchester-based removable media subsystems from other mass storage vendors.
 As part of the agreement, Iomega can also market the DataCart media through its worldwide distributor network.
 MASS Microsystems Inc., a subsidiary of Ramtek Corp., designs, manufactures and markets storage subsystems worldwide for the Apple Macintosh family. The company produces award-winning mass storage subsystems including RAID level disk arrays, high-performance subsystems, optical drives and removable media devices.
 Iomega Corp., headquartered in Roy, Utah, develops, manufactures and sells high-performance removable mass storage for desktop, portable computers and for workstations. Iomega's patented Bernoulli technology provides unlimited data storage capability by combining the removability and security of floppy drives with the high capacity and performance of rigid drives.
