MASONS INSTALL OFFICERS 76 LODGE LEADERS FROM 2 DISTRICTS HONORED.
LANCASTER - Joseph A. Meekins Lodge 103 hosted a public installation ceremony for 76 officers from Districts 12 and 13 of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons of California.
Ceremonies were held Dec. 16 in United Desert Charities Center in Lancaster.
Installed as Worshipful Master of Lodge 103 was Harold Lee, 28, of Lancaster.
Lee, an employee of Space Mark International, became the 19th Free Mason to lead the Meekins Lodge since its founding in 1963.
In addition to the Meekins Lodge officers installed, members of the five participating lodges were advanced in the ceremonies.
Lodges represented were High Desert 107, Orange Valley 13, Plumbline Military 117, Prince Hall 17, and Silvermoon 105.
The installation of lodge officers marked the first time in many years that Joseph A. Meekins 103 has hosted this event.
